This Privacy Policy explains how Zan - Zari Labs OÜ ("OutSponsor," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the OutSponsor platform at outsponsor.com.

By creating an account or using OutSponsor, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. What Is OutSponsor

OutSponsor is a sponsorship intelligence platform for social media creators. It monitors publicly available social media posts across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook to detect brand sponsorship deals. When a sponsorship is detected, OutSponsor generates AI-powered outreach pitch messages that you can review, customize, and send to brands manually.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your password (stored in hashed form only; not applicable if you sign up via social login)
  • Your selected subscription plan

2.2 Profile Information

During onboarding and through your Profile page, you may provide:

  • Your social media handles (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook)
  • Analytics screenshots from your social media dashboards (used to extract follower count, engagement rate, and audience demographics)
  • Your content niche or category
  • Your rate card and pricing information
  • Past campaign results (via screenshots or manual entry)
  • A short bio or about text used for pitch personalization

2.3 Content Scan

When you provide your social media handles, we perform a one-time scan of your recent public posts to understand your content style, identify your top-performing content, analyze your hashtag usage and engagement patterns, and detect brands you already mention or tag organically. This scan powers pitch personalization and helps auto-fill your media kit. You can update this scan at any time from your Profile page.

2.4 Watchlist and Competitor Data

You choose which creators to add to your watchlist. For each competitor, we store the creator handle and the platform you selected.

2.5 Publicly Available Post Data

We collect publicly available posts from creators on your watchlist using third-party data providers and official platform APIs. The data collected includes post captions, hashtags, mentions, engagement metrics (likes, comments, views, shares), platform-provided sponsorship flags (such as paid partnership labels), and post URLs.

We only collect data from public posts. We do not access private accounts, direct messages, or Stories.

This data relates to other creators (your competitors), not to you personally.

2.6 Sponsorship Detection and Pitch Data

Our system analyzes collected posts and generates:

  • Detected sponsorship records (including the brand name, confidence level, and detection method)
  • AI-generated pitch messages based on the detected sponsorship combined with your profile, stats, and content history

2.7 Usage Data

We collect information about how you use OutSponsor, including which features you access, session duration, your notification preferences (daily digest time, timezone, and weekly recap settings), and your designated alert email address.

2.8 Billing Data

We store your subscription plan and billing cycle. All payment processing is handled by a secure third-party payment processor. We do not store your credit card number, bank account details, or other financial payment information on our servers.

2.9 Team Data

If you are on a Growth or Agency plan with team seats, we collect the email addresses of invited team members, their assigned roles (Owner or Member), and invitation status.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide the core OutSponsor service, including monitoring your watchlist and detecting sponsorships
  • Generate personalized AI-powered pitch messages using your profile, stats, and content
  • Send you email notifications, including daily digests, real-time sponsorship alerts, and weekly recaps
  • Process your subscription and manage billing
  • Manage team member access on applicable plans
  • Improve, maintain, and secure the platform

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with the following categories of third-party service providers to operate OutSponsor:

  • Social media data providers — to collect publicly available post data from social media platforms on your behalf
  • AI and machine learning services — to analyze posts for sponsorship signals and generate personalized pitch content
  • Payment processor — to handle subscription payments securely (we do not receive or store your payment card details)
  • Authentication providers — to offer secure login, including social login options
  • Email delivery service — to send notifications such as daily digests, sponsorship alerts, and weekly recaps
  • Cloud infrastructure and database hosting — to store and process your data securely within the European Union

These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.

5. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on secure servers located in the European Union (Ireland region). We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, to protect your information. Passwords are hashed using secure algorithms and are never stored in plain text.

6. What We Do Not Do

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.
  • We do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-site tracking.
  • We do not access private social media accounts, direct messages, or Stories.
  • We do not send outreach messages on your behalf. All AI-generated pitches are suggestions for you to review and send manually.
  • We do not store credit card or payment information on our servers.

7. Cookies

OutSponsor uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. These cookies are necessary for the platform to function properly. We do not use advertising cookies, marketing cookies, or third-party tracking cookies.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all of your personal data — including your profile, watchlist, detected sponsorships, generated pitches, and team data — will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Publicly available post data collected from competitors may be retained in aggregated, non-personal form for service improvement.

9. Your Rights Under GDPR

As OutSponsor is operated by a company based in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies. You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data and request a copy
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete personal data
  • Erase your personal data (right to be forgotten) by deleting your account
  • Restrict processing of your personal data in certain circumstances
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
  • Object to processing of your personal data
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority

10. Age Requirement

OutSponsor is designed for professional creators and business use. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the platform.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of OutSponsor after the updated policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

12. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to all users. If you are located in a jurisdiction with additional consumer protection requirements, those local protections also apply to the extent required by law.
